Movies of my childhood

Growing up in the Gorrell Household there was a small range of movies we watched. There was one particular movie that us girls watched over and over and over again. That movie was Anne of Green Gables and then the sequel, Anne of Avonlea and then the last movie Anne the Continuing Story. Yes there are about 6 movies in all. My dad had to endure the trilogy all too many times and I have it almost all memorized. It is the most wonderful love story about a firecracker of a girl who meets a dashing and timid young boy and they grow up together, at first hating each other and then falling in love. It's a very conservative and old-fashioned move but I love it. It reminds me of my childhood. Here are a few movie scenes.

Look how they gradually look so much older! They must have filmed this movie over like 10 years! Crazy! She was 16 in the first movie.
