Lots and Lots of Pictures~

This is Addy in her Halloween costume. Isn't she precious? Does this make me want another baby you ask? I don't quite feel the urge to have another baby right this second but maybe it will hit me in 2011. I don't want them too far apart and I have to remember it takes a whole 9 months for them to cook so we will see. Being done with childbearing before 30 years old does sound quite nice. Haha.

This was Addy's hair BEFORE my talented sister cut it for her birthday party. She looks like a redneck. I'm so glad we squeezed in a trim before the party! Courtney even stacked it in the back! Love the bob on little girls!

Matt and I went on a date to celebrate our 11 year dating anniversary this weekend. We went to one of our favorite restaurants; Pasados. It's in Hurst so we don't go there very often. They have the best garlic butter that you pour on your fajitas! They also have free soapapillas (sp)! YUM! We could barely walk out we were so stuffed. We went with our best friends, Lauren and Brandon. He is the new YL Area Director for MISD. Matt was the Best Man in his wedding and he was Matts. I was Lauren's Matron of Honor. Very cool.

These are the nurses I work with in the operating room. Can you believe there are only 4 of us! At my last job there were close to 20 nurses! It's so different working in such a small facility.

This week my mom took Addy to Rose Park to play. This girl LOVES to be outside. She would play in the grass all day if we let her. She got to slide down the slide for the first time!

Addy had her 1 year doctors appt last week. It went good. Our pediatrician said "She looks perfect!" but I'm thinking she says that to everyone. This is obviously the BEFORE shot picture. I have to say I am doing much better at this shot thing. The first couple months when she had to get stuck I was so hurt by her crying. Now that she is a year old, I have miraculously grown some balls and can handle it. Which is good considering kids get a ton of shots in the first 10+ years. Here are Addy's 1 year stats... she was 20lbs, 45% for weight, 45% for height and 70% for head size! Sounds good to me! Oh and we are officially OFF BOTTLES! I actually washed them all the packed them up for baby #2! So crazy! I love never having to wash those stupid things again for a while! We decided to cut out the apple juice we were giving Addy. We only bought the Mott's 40% less sugar brand anyway, but the doc said it contributes to cavities and childhood obesity but so does macaroni and we feed her that all the time. We might go back but for right now we are doing whole milk and sugar free crystal light!

Addy was introduced to ribs last week and she loved the tender meat! She was nice enough to share with the dogs too.

About a month ago Matt and I stumbled upon an awesome garage sale around the corner from our house. It was awesome because they were trying to get rid of things that their 4 year old girl had grown out of. Perfect!!!! We picked out a lot of things we wanted and then ran up the street to get cash. When we got back a lot of the stuff we thought we reserved had be bought. It really made me mad that they didn't save the items for us like we asked but we managed to get away with this awesome tricycle! They said they played with that thing a ton! Well, so far, Addy has loved pushing it in circles and occasionally riding on it...she in the pushing phase I guess...haha.

This is one of Addy's new birthday presents from Aunt C and family. I love anything with her name/monogram on it. Luckly, it was 40 degrees out one night last week and I was able to put her in it for the first time. I can't wait till I can put her in long sleeves more often!
