The One Year Hiatus

So I'm sure you've seen the date of my last post and are wondering why it's been almost exactly a year since I've blogged.

Matt and I decided to peruse photography professionally (on top of our other full time jobs) and have been working on that for a year. We did two weddings and even more family and senior shoots and have learned so much.

We figured out quickly though, how much tedious time it takes to edit thousands of wedding photos when you have a two year old hanging on your arm (and a newborn on the way). It just wasn't going to happen in this current stage of our life...having a toddler and a (almost) newborn make it very hard. We've had to turn down a few other weddings and general family sessions cause we just haven't had time and I haven't had the energy since I'm now in my third trimester. As of now, we are putting this passion on hold. Maybe when our kids are school aged we can pick it up again.

So here I am blogging again! And right before Sawyers arrival too! About 9 weeks to go!
