I was never like that before I had Addy, but now my energy levels are all over the place. Some days I get home and immediatly change into my workout clothes, excited to head up to the park. Other days I collapse into bed while Addy takes her nap. Not being able to work-out in weeks because of this weather hasn't helped at all. Now it's nice out and yesterday I was so tired I just fell into bed, barely hungry for dinner. That is definitely not normal for me! I slept hard and woke up this morning still a little tired! I slept in an extra 30 min and then was scrambling to get out the door in time. Once I got to work and got moving I felt a lot better then yesterday. Thank you Lord for new days.
Change of subject....
I was looking for some new desserts to make and stumbled across these delicious treats that I would love to attempt. Too bad it's expensive to bake!
Bannana's Foster- Although cooking with Rum can be dangerous! haha.

Coffee Frappuccino Punch- It's like having an endless Starbucks at the party! I'd love to do this for a shower (bridal or baby!). Yes that is coffee ice cream sprinkled with cinnamon, floating on the top! Yum Yum!

Tiramisu Fruit Dip- The real Tiramisu can be expensive to make so I thought I'd just do some sort of a dip instead. I'll have to try it out sometime soon!

Can you tell we ran out of coffee a few days ago and I'm going through withdrawals? haha.
We are doing GREAT with our finances. We aren't any richer...haha but living frugally to get debt free isn't as bad as I thought. I guess I just got used to it. haha We are doing a great job of controlling our "outflow" of money. God has slowly changed my attitude from an unsatisfied one to a content one. I never go shopping anymore, even though that desire is still there and I hate walls in my home without anything on them, God is giving me the patience I need to WAIT to decorate our home. This is hard when I have so many good ideas! I haven't been in Hobby Lobby in months! I think I'm going through withdrawals! haha! Can't do much to control the "in-flow" right now but we are still praying about that diligently! God said no to the Grand Prarie Police position. There are a few possibiliies around the corner that I will update you on when that time comes. We are working to remain faithful to God's promises as we know everything happens on His watch not ours.
Hi Katie! I found your blog through Kyla's. We go to TCAL too and I think we've met at one of the ladies events.
ReplyDeleteJust wanted you to know you aren't the only one who struggles with the Mommy/wife/working person delimma. :) If you find any tricks, feel free to pass them on!
