God is Good

So this is a picture of a very proud 2 year old! We have been working consistently on potty training Addy for about 4 months now. We have encouraged her but not forced her and she has done well. We are letting her discover at her own pace and she is becoming more comfortable lately with going number 1 in the potty and staying dry all day. Well, going number 2 is a hard concept to teach and learn. Today, was a huge day cause she went #2 in the potty! It wasn't much but she understood that is where it goes and that... well you know how it works. This was her very first time to do it so it will be a while before she is completely finished but we have a year to go before it's a requirement that she 

So today I decided to have a good day before the day even started. I woke up with Addy's feet in my face this morning (shes a crazy sleeper) and was also propped up on three pillows because of the major heartburn I've been having but I didn't let that put a damper on my spirits. It's amazing how my mood really determines whether I'm gonna have a good day or not. I turned off the radio on the way to work and tried to commit that time to prayer. When I talk to God I tend to get distracted and go off on tangents like im talking to a girlfriend over coffee. I need to stay more focused so I can actually get through my list.  

This is something I want on my wall in my home. So cute and important....

Side note I just thought of: Thank you Lord for a 79 hr paycheck this time around! You have provided for us yet again! That hasn't happened in months!!
